Course Description

The aim of this course is to make students more proficient speakers of English while increasing their vocabulary, learning discussion conventions, raising language awareness and developing an understanding of other cultures and customs. Normally discussion focuses on oral communication. However, the Internet provides a unique opportunity for people to discuss topics across great distances and time. The written discussion skills you practice online now can be transfered to face to face communication at a later time.
